Arraigo Lawyers in Valencia
Regularize your status through arraigo when you already have time or ties in Spain.
- Arraigo socio laboral (work-based)
- Arraigo socio formativo (training-based)
- Family member of a Spanish citizen
- Arraigo social (social roots)
- Arraigo de segunda oportunidad (second chance)
Arraigo is the route to regularise your situation when you have already been living in Spain for some time. Since the 2024 Regulation there are several types, each with different requirements, and choosing the wrong one costs you a refusal. We study which one applies to you and prepare the file.
What we check in your case
- Which type of arraigo fits you: social, sociolaboral, socioformativo, familiar or de segunda oportunidad.
- Whether you can evidence your continuous stay in Spain with documents.
- Your criminal record, here and in any countries where you have previously lived.
- How to evidence the financial means your type requires.
- Whether you need the integration report from the regional government and when it is worth requesting, because it takes time to be issued.
Which type of arraigo applies to you
There are five types: social, sociolaboral, socioformativo, familiar and de segunda oportunidad.
Each requires different things: some ask for an employment contract and others do not, some require an integration report and others are evidenced by family tie.
Choosing the wrong one is the most frequent cause of refusal, and it is the first thing we resolve with you.
Timeframes
The integration report and the decision depend on different bodies, and neither of them moves at the pace you would like.
That is why we start it early when needed and file a complete file: a good share of avoidable delays come from corrections. At the first consultation we give you a realistic estimate.
How we handle your case
- We study your case and tell you which type applies to you and whether you already meet the requirements.
- We organise the documentation: historical town-hall registration, legalised and translated criminal records, and whatever evidences your financial means.
- If your case needs it, we start the integration report early so it does not hold up the file.
- We file the complete file, with the report and the evidence of financial means and pay the fee.
- We follow the file and answer any request for further information within the deadline.
- With a favourable decision in hand, we handle your TIE from start to finish.

Frequently asked questions
- I do not know which type of arraigo applies to me.
- That is the first thing we resolve. There are several types with different requirements, and the choice is what most decides the outcome.
- Do I need an employment contract?
- It depends on the type: not all of them require one. At the consultation we will tell you which is your case.
- I am in an irregular situation, can I come to your office without any problem?
- Yes. We are your lawyer, not the administration. Everything you tell us is covered by professional confidentiality.
- Will you help me with the integration report?
- Yes. We will tell you if your case needs it and we start it early, because it is what most often delays the file.
- What if I was already refused once?
- We review it. It is worth looking at the reason for the refusal before filing again, and sometimes an appeal is the right move.
