Residence Permit Lawyers in Valencia

Live legally in Spain through family ties or study, and bring your loved ones over.

  • Family member of a Spanish citizen
  • EU family member card
  • Born in Spain
  • Foreign minor
  • Family reunification
  • Dependent of a Spanish citizen
  • Student stay

Living legally in Spain means having the residence permit that matches your situation, and choosing the wrong route costs months. We study your case, tell you which one fits you and prepare the complete file.

What we check in your case

  • Which type of residence permit applies to you according to your family tie: family member of a Spanish national, family member of an EU citizen, born in Spain, foreign minor or dependent.
  • Whether your case fits better as family reunification or as an independent application.
  • If you are coming to study, what your student stay requires and how it links to whatever comes next.
  • What documentation has to be legalised or translated, and which certificates will expire before a decision is issued.
  • If your situation is irregular and what applies to you is an arraigo, we will tell you: it goes by another route and we handle that too.
  • If what you have is a card about to expire, yours is not a new application but a renewal or modification and the deadlines are different.

Which permits we handle here and which we do not

On this page we handle residence by family tie: family member of a Spanish national, family member of an EU citizen, child born in Spain, foreign minor and dependent, as well as family reunifications and student stays.

If what applies to you is an arraigo or a renewal of the card you already have, those are separate routes with their own deadlines and we handle them on their own pages.

If you do not know which one you fit into, that is exactly what we resolve at the first consultation.

Timeframes

Each route has its own procedure and its own timings, and the workload of the body that decides does the rest.

What does prevent delays is filing a complete file by the right route from the start. At the first consultation we give you a realistic estimate.

How we handle your case

  1. We study your case at the first consultation and tell you which route applies to you, without you having to work it out.
  2. We review the documentation, including legalisations and sworn translations.
  3. We file the application for your specific route and pay the corresponding fee.
  4. We monitor the file and answer any request for further information within the deadline.
  5. When it is granted, we request the fingerprint appointment and arrange the issue of your TIE.

Frequently asked questions

I do not know which type of residence applies to me.
That is normal, and it is the first thing we resolve at the consultation. Come with your situation and we will tell you the route.
Do you handle arraigo as well?
Yes, but it is another route. If that is your case we will tell you and we will handle it all the same.
What about reuniting my family?
We handle it. We review the requirements before filing, which is where most files run into trouble.
Do I have to come to the office or can it be by video call?
As you prefer. We see clients in person in Valencia and by video call, including if you are not in Spain yet.
What happens when it is granted?
We take care of the fingerprint appointment and the issue of the TIE. You are not left alone with the decision in your hand.
